Training 1-1

So today being the first day of the month/week, Rick had departed for home and that meant it was time for me to start the training. After running half-way around the street and realizing that running is way hard, I decided to jog back home and hop on my bike and finish my daily cardio on that.

Riding a bike is a lot more exerting than I remember it being, although I imagine that's mostly due to the fact that I haven't rode one in years. I used to be able to ride up to 14 mile and John R Road and back, and now I can barely zip around the surrounding warren suburbs without wanting to die. Regardless, I rode around for about a half-hour, without stopping anywhere to rest. I would lift off the seat for brief periods of time to pedal incredibly fast and gain momentum, and then when I lost breath I would sit back down - continuing to keep up pedaling to the best of my ability. So after an all-too familiar trip around the city, I arrived back at home, completing my daily "intense" cardio exercises.

I know I did a pretty good job of pushing my body (in its current state) to its limits, being almost completely out of breath, and my heart about to pound right out of my chest. I felt initially a bit queasy, like i was on the verge of vomiting or something, so I walked around the back yard for a couple minutes to cool off.

A little bit later I did some yard work for my mom, I figured I'd voluenteer for this since it was more physical activity, and I want to keep my body as active as possible.

Afterwards, I did some leg exercises with the help of the Air Alert III. I did week one's chart, but didn't repeat sets. I figure that's about all the training I can do for today, as I don't want to blow out my legs completely, and have to lay around for three days doing nothing, like last time.

I figure on the more parkour-intensive days of training, I won't have to do so much cardio, since the basic nature of free-running is much the same workout. I found out one thing though, maintaining a healthy-outlook is a lot more demanding than I thought, both physically and mentally.

Diet for today - 201
------------------
x1 Chewy Bar
x1 Bowl of Cereal
x1 Lean Cusine
x1 Glass of V8
x1 Glass of Orange Juice
Tons of Water

P.S. I cut my goatee in ceremonial fashion today, not unlike a damsel cutting her hair with a sword - it was intense, and even a bit emotional.
